New York Knicks: A free agency of ‘uncertainty’ is potentially ahead

2019 NBA free agency could redefine the New York Knicks for the next four years. With $70 million in cap space and a laundry list of top names available — and enough room to sign two of them to max contracts — this team’s next iteration could become the best since the 1990s.

There are no guarantees, though, as most of these top players sit in playoff situations, aside from Kemba Walker. That includes the two most often linked to the Knicks this summer: Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

In an article from The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor, he reported the perception is still Durant signing with the Knicks if he leaves the Golden State Warriors, who are up 3-2 in a first round series against the Los Angeles Clippers.
