The 2018-19 season will end soon for the New York Knicks. With only eight games remaining, it’s the “race” for the lottery’s top spot, even if the worst three records own an even 14-percent chance at the first overall pick.
As the lottery nears, so does the speculation of players’ positioning in the draft. Whether it’s the talent projected first, second, third, in the top 10, in the lottery, a general first-round pick or undrafted, everyone has a label.
The Knicks, at 14-60, project to own one of the NBA’s top picks, either way. If they end with the League’s worst record, their pick can become no lower than fifth.
