The New York Knicks are entering a season with confusing expectations. There’s no excuse for this vastly improved roster to duplicate the 2014-15 season, when the Knicks won 17 games, but are not expected to compete for a championship.
Fortunately, New York can still make the playoffs.
Simply getting to the postseason isn’t enough to placate Knicks fans, but it’d be a tremendous step in the right direction. Not only would it help the young players on the roster gain experience, but it’d improve New York’s offseason appeal.
The question is, what must the Knicks do to reach the playoffs?
