The New York Knicks were thrown quite the curveball leading up to their third game at Summer League. After two games with Frank Ntilikina running the offense and leading the defense, the Knicks were forced to play a game without their primary playmaker.
It may not have ended in the way that the Knicks had hoped it would, but the clash with the Los Angeles Lakers proved to be a momentous occasion for the orange and blue.
New York was without Ntilikina and center Luke Kornet, who has now missed all three of its games at Summer League.
