Brook Lopez delivered the first of what figures to be many insults between neighboring twin brothers.
Asked Thursday about Robin Lopez signing with the Knicks, the comic book enthusiast referenced his favorite superhero.
“As far as Robin’s concerned, he’ll always be the back end of Batman,” Lopez said. “That sums that up pretty much.”
Later, while being interviewed on YES Network, Lopez was asked whether he and Robin will be roommates.
“I might allow it. It might be okay for him to live in my residence. I’m thinking something like the basement or a little cupboard under the stairs ala Harry Potter,” Lopez said.
