After losing their first game of Summer League on Saturday to the Charlotte Hornets, the New York Knicks (0-2) returned to the Thomas & Mack Center today to face the Brooklyn Nets (2-1).
In today’s contest, the Knicks won the first quarter handily, 28-11. Then the Nets flipped the script, taking the second quarter, 28-15. New York led at intermission, 43-39, and after a near tie in the third frame, Brooklyn pulled away through the final leg. Final score: 92-85.
Once again, Duane Washington, Jr. led the Summerbockers. Today he racked up 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field.
