NBA Rumor Central: Military service might not affect Antetokounmpo brothers' status

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brother, Thanasis, started their mandatory three-month Greek military service on Wednesday. Thanasis is a forward for the D-League Westchester Knicks. Bucks reporter Paul Henning confirmed that the brothers have started their service by tweeting a photo of them in uniform.

According to a report from Greek newspaper Naftemporiki, all Greek citizens who live permanently overseas, such as the Antetokounmpo brothers, must serve three months in the nation's military. With training camp set to start before their three-month terms end, could they miss the start of camp?
