Mitchell Robinson’s return nearly sparked the Knicks to their first back-to-back wins of the season. Now, the Knicks again have to wonder if they can count on their second-year center the next time they take the court.
Following a sensational 16-point effort in Thursday’s win over the Mavericks, Robinson again came off the bench to post his first double-double of the season, with 17 points and 12 rebounds Saturday night at Madison Square Garden. But the big man, who has already suffered a pair of ankle sprains this season, came up hobbling midway through the fourth quarter of the 103-102 loss to the Hornets.
