Melo: Hornacek's fast offense 'a new opportunity'

NEW YORK -- Carmelo Anthony says he's looking forward to playing at a quicker pace under Jeff Hornacek, who in the coming days is expected to be named the next head coach of the New York Knicks.

"I played against him a couple of times when he was the head coach out there in Phoenix," Anthony said in an interview Saturday with WNBC-TV's Bruce Beck. "Everybody knows he likes to play an up-tempo pace of game, likes to get out in transition, likes to speed the game up a lot. So from that standpoint I'll definitely be looking forward to that.
