Marshall Plumlee got stuck in traffic, ran to MSG to make his NBA debut

Knicks rookie Marshall Plumlee fits a certain kind of mold as a basketball player: played four years, played for Duke, overachieving younger brother, scrappy, built like a tank, short arms, shoots a hook shot so mechanical it makes Cole Aldrich look like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar launching a balletic skyhook, is named “Marshall.” He’s the kind of kid who would run to the arena if his team needed him.

Yeah, about that ...

Marshall Plummlee took a train from White Plains, took a cab and because of traffic got out and ran to MSG. Arrived in first quarter.
