LAS VEGAS — Sweet Lou Amundson is feeling sweet on the Knicks brass.
Amundson’s re-signing with the Knicks over the weekend was a refreshing change to his topsy-turvy, journeyman career. He has played with 10 teams and usually never knows where he will spend the season until weeks before October training camp.
The gritty, ponytailed Amundson was obtained in the January trade that sent J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert to Cleveland. Knicks brass felt Amundson improved the locker-room dynamic with his high motor and work ethic. The Knicks used the remaining dollars of their cap space to sign Amundson to a one-year, $1.
