When the New York Knicks signed shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. as a free agent last summer, he was brought in to play the two spot.
But, with the Knicks trading Carmelo Anthony and no other viable starting small forwards on their roster, it made sense for them to have Hardaway start in the three spot with Courtney Lee starting as their shooting guard.
Now it looks like Hardaway will have a new position this season.
Knicks’ head coach David Fizdale told reporters on Wednesday that he wants a bigger starting small forward this season, according to Stefan Bondy of he NY Daily News.
