Hughes has been with the Knicks since 2007. He served as a scout until 2011, when he was promoted to Director of Player Personnel. In 2016-17 he served as director of scouting for the West region. He will now serve under Mitch Winger, who took the Clippers’ general manager position this week after moving over from Oklahoma City’s front office.
