James Dolan wasted no time finding the next Knicks president.
Player agent Leon Rose of CAA is set to take over the role from the fired Steve Mills, according to multiple reports. The Knicks axed Mills on Tuesday.
Rose’s clients include former Knicks star Carmelo Anthony and Karl-Anthony Towns, and he used to represent LeBron James.
The Post’s Marc Berman reported Wednesday that Dolan’s desire to fill the president role soon meant it was unlikely they would end up with Toronto’s Masai Ujiri.
The Knicks are following the Warriors (Bob Myers) and Lakers (Rob Pelinka) in trusting an agent to run their basketball operations.
