LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul vote for each other for NBA All-Star Game

ATLANTA — They don’t only vacation together, they vote for each other in the NBA All-Star balloting.

Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul cast Twitter votes for their teammates but also for each other Monday for next month’s All-Star Game in Toronto.

“Friends, man,” Anthony said. “That’s what friends are for.”

Anthony said they didn’t talk about it or text each other to do it. He said they saw one do it and it just “trickled down” among the four who vacationed together over the summer.

James was the first, voting for Cleveland teammates Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love and then his close circle of friends.
