Knicks’ head coach David Fizdale on the other hand sounded different when talking about Robinson’s ankle by saying that it “is not terribly bad, but I think he got a pretty good sprain.’’
Robinson claims he could have gone back into the game.
“I can walk — they just want me to be safe,’’ said Robinson, who did have a limp while walking around the locker room, according to The Post.
Prior to injuring his ankle, Robinson managed two points and two rebounds in 10 minutes of play.
My guess is that Robinson will not play in the Knicks first home preseason game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night.
