Lakers 127, Knicks 107: Scenes from an afternoon humiliation you hopefully avoided

The New York Knicks played perhaps their worst game of the season on Sunday, losing to the Los Angeles Lakers by the score of 127-107. Fortunately the NFL Conference Championship Games are on, so you didn’t necessarily have to watch NBA basketball to get your sports fix.

Where to start? The defense, probably. New York gave up 127 points to a Lakers team missing Lonzo Ball and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. They caught another break in the first half when Kyle Kuzma jammed his finger. Didn’t matter.
