On Saturday afternoon in Las Vegas, Kristaps Porzingis made his highly anticipated debut in front of NBA and Knicks fans escaping the sweltering heat inside the Thomas and Mack Center. Despite battling a minor hip injury suffered during a pre-draft workout, the No. 4 overall pick did not disappoint.
Prior to the national anthem, Porzingis warmed up; causally knocking down step-back jumpers and not so causally hammering dunks high above the rim. The stage was set for No.
