Give Kristaps Porzingis a mixed review in his 21-minute Knicks debut, especially considering it was not even against an NBA team.
After getting the starting nod and playing his first game at the Garden, Porzingis banged in a couple of 3-pointers — one more than during his entire stint in the Las Vegas summer league. But the 7-foot-3 Latvian rookie also mishandled a couple of passes that went out of bounds and grabbed just a couple of rebounds.
Porzingis blocked a shot, but also got pushed out of the paint often enough to wonder how great an impact he will make as a rookie.
