Knicks fans are eagerly anticipating the debut of the No. 4 overall pick Kristaps Porzingis. The 7-3 Latvian shares the excitement as the fan base as he prepares for Saturday’s first Summer League contest for the orange and blue.
After suffering from a minor hip injury in the pre-draft workout for the Knicks, Porzingis has participated in a couple of practice sessions in Las Vegas. Porzingis sat out of the morning session on Thursday but played in the scrimmage in the evening.
“No pain at all,” the big man confirmed. “I’m good to go, they’re just letting me get in to the process slowly.
