Even if you didn’t follow college basketball over the last couple of seasons, there’s a good chance that you’ve at least heard of the name Zach Edey. The reigning two-time Naismith College Player of the Year Award winner just finished off what is one of the most decorated college careers ever and his dominance led to numerous discussions about his potential at the next level. But like many of the recent Player of the Year award winners, there have been questions surrounding just how effective he can be in the NBA. Some think that his size, interior scoring, offensive rebounding, and screening could turn him into a very solid player, while others worry that his lack of explosiveness and lateral quickness will leave him much too susceptible on the defensive end.
