On the market for a Cameroonian-ish seven-footer but loathe the notion of doing business with Daryl Morey? Look no further!

In May, ESPN NBA expert Jeremy Woo suggested that the Knicks might use one of their two mid-twenties picks in the upcoming NBA Draft on Yves Missi, a center from Baylor, as insurance with free agent Isaiah Hartenstein set to test the market. The seven-foot, 230 lb Missi has significant athleticism (a 7’2” wingspan! a 37-inch vertical!) but is generally considered a long-term project, not yet ready for NBA primetime.

Born in Belgium and raised in Cameroon, the 20-year-old Missi joined the Bears from Prolific Prep in California, where he was the number two prospect in the state.
