A lot of the hype surrounding the Knicks using one of their two first-round picks to draft a big man has been centered around Zach Edey and rightfully so. The reigning back-to-back National Player of the Year is one of the most recognizable players in this summer’s draft and also is among the most accomplished and decorated collegiate players in our generation, if not ever.
But given Edey’s clear weaknesses and the potential that he gets picked ahead of the Knicks, another big man has emerged as a potential target for the Knicks. And that target comes in the shape of Kyle Filipowski.
