The New York Knicks committed long-term deals to three centers during the summer of 2016. On the domestic scene, Joakim Noah received a four-year deal worth $72 million and Marshall Plumlee was handed a three-year contract worth $2,498,982.
It was on the international scene, however, that New York found the player who may be the long-term answer: Willy Hernangomez.
With three guaranteed seasons, Hernangomez projects to be a significant member of the Knicks’ long-term vision.
This may be his first contract with an NBA team, but Hernangomez has played at the highest of European levels.
