During the New York Knicks preseason win over the Washington Wizards, rookie point guard Tyrius Walker played 10 minutes, scored one point as he shot 0-3 from the field and 1-2 from the free throw line
The Knicks clearly weren’t impressed by Walker, a former Morehouse College player, and announced on Tuesday that he’s been waived.

This move makes plenty of sense given the fact that Wlaker likely wasn’t going to make New York’s regular season roster.
