On Sunday, the New York Knicks will close their Western Conference road trip against the Denver Nuggets. Trying for a three-game winning streak, the Knicks are coming off narrow victories over the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings.
This winning streak is New York’s first of the season. It took taking the Warriors to overtime and overcoming a deficit against the Kings, but as this team had a 10-game losing streak on its hands, wins in any fashion are fine.
Wayne Ellington (Achilles) and Allonzo Trier (concussion-like symptoms) both sat out the Kings game with injuries.
