Carmelo Anthony has rightfully earned the reputation of an athlete who’s more than willing to give back to the community. As recently as Monday, November 16, ‘Melo and his foundation donated boxes of food to 800 families.
Unfortunately, not every story will be as heartwarming as that.
In mid-October, Anthony spoke to the media about what he called a life-changing visit to Rikers Island. He met with teenage prisoners in hopes providing them with some measure of hope for when they get out.
