Knicks to waive Joakim Noah, per report

It’s been 10 months and finally it looks like the New York Knicks will be moving on from center Joakim Noah.

There have been reports over the past two weeks that the Knicks and Noah will finally part ways, but nothing has happened.

There is finally light at the end of the tunnel for both sides.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ian Begley reported on Saturday that the Knicks will waive Noah, since both sides were unable to agree on a buyout.

Sources with @ianbegley: Knicks center Joakim Noah has no traction on an open roster spot elsewhere in NBA, so he’s remained unwilling to agree to a buyout.
