This week, the New York Knicks’ head coach Tom Thibodeau appeared on the Roommates Podcast to be grilled by (and roast) his players, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart. Thibs has a reputation for running players into the ground and shortening their lives with excessive workloads, and during the interview the two-time recipient of Coach of the Year honors dismissed the criticism.
“I always tell you guys at the beginning of the season, you begin with the end in mind.,” said Thibs. “You prepare yourself for what you’re going to have to do all season long, so—look, there could be a game that you play extended minutes.
