Enes Kanter could be leaving the Big Apple.
According to a report from ESPN, the Knicks and Kings are in the early stages of discussions for a Kanter-Zach Randolph trade. The Kings would want to add more expiring contracts in the deal and a third team may have to be involved, the report states.
Kanter is unlikely to be a part of the Knicks’ future and has been frustrated with a lack of playing time as the team focuses on its younger players. Centers Luke Kornet and rookie Mitchell Robinson, who is out with an injury right now, have both been given more prominent roles.
