LONDON — The Knicks left behind New York, flying on a red-eye through the night and arriving in England with a day off and a chance to go behind the cameras for a day as tourists.
Damyean Dotson was shopping at Harrods, the five-acre department store. Luke Kornet was conducting his own guidebook for tourists, tweeting out his sightseeing adventures. Emmanuel Mudiay and former Knick John Starks were hosting a promotional event. Former Knick Latrell Sprewell was serving as a coach for a Jr. NBA event.
“We’ll tour all that stuff and try to do it in a way that doesn’t have them on their feet a lot,” Knicks coach David Fizdale said before departing for London on Monday.
