The Knicks finally addressed their guard shaky backcourt issues Wednesday, when team president Phil Jackson announced the signing of the Sixers’ Tony Wroten, though terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Wroten a 6-6, shooting guard who played just eight games for the Sixers this season, averaging 8.4 points and just 2.5 assists. Wroten is in his fourth NBA season, averaging 11.1 points, 3.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds over 21.2 minutes in 145 games (34 starts) in four seasons with Memphis and Philadelphia.
The deal is expected to be a multi-year pact with few guarantees after this season.
