The Knicks officially signed the player Phil Jackson hopes will become a future star, inking fourth overall pick Kristaps Porzingis on Thursday.
The club also announced agreements with 19th overall pick Jerian Grant and nine-year veteran Lou Amundson.

Porzingis, 19, was drafted last month to boos from the pro-Knicks crowd at Barclays Center, largely because he was an unknown European picked above NCAA stars. He then impressed in Summer League for the Knicks in Las Vegas.
