NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Knicks have signed forward Maurice Ndour, an NBA Summer League standout a year ago.
The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 9.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in five games for the Knicks in the Summer League in 2015. He had 23 points and six rebounds in a win over the 76ers.
His impressive showing landed him a contract with the Dallas Mavericks, who outbid the Knicks. But Ndour was waived after suffering a leg injury in October.
Ndour, 24, then spent the 2015-16 season with Real Madrid in the EuroLeague.
