Knicks Rumors: Two coaches emerge as leading candidates

The New York Knicks have flipped the script since hiring Scott Perry and promoting Steve Mills. Long known as the franchise that’s most likely to take a chance on a big name that’s a questionable fit, the Knicks are acting like an organization with a long-term vision.

That much has been thoroughly proven by the extensive coaching search that’s included 10 known candidates receiving interviews.

The Knicks have interviewed a list of candidates that varies in background and experience: David Blatt, James Borrego, Mike Budenholzer, David Fizdale, Juwan Howard, Mark Jackson, Jay Larrañaga, Kenny Smith, Jerry Stackhouse, and Mike Woodson.
