With the NBA Finals potentially ending Thursday, a historic offseason will kick into full swing for the New York Knicks, but maybe not as planned; that is with Kevin Durant‘s ruptured Achilles, which could sideline him for most, if not the entire, 2019-20 season.
Durant was rumored to join New York with Kyrie Irving for most of this past season, but the Brooklyn Nets factored into the equation, as well.
With the Nets speculation and Durant’s injury, though, the Knicks are still in play to sign both players to their $70-plus million in cap space, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
