The New York Knicks are embracing Summer League as a tool for long-term evaluation. Though very few members of the roster will be a product of said event, the front office is still valuing it as a recruiting and evaluating tool.
That became quite evident on Wednesday, July 13, when a Summer League standout was signed to the main roster.
Maurice Ndour was the standout performer for the Knicks’ 2015 Summer League team. Following that sensational showing, many expected New York to sign Ndour to the main roster—a dream that never came to fruition in 2015.
