From a sports perspective, Jimmer Fredette is the pride of Glens Falls, New York. He led Glens Falls High School to a combined record of 47-3 during his final two seasons, per MaxPreps.com.
At the collegiate level, Fredette starred for the BYU Cougars. He unanimously won National Player of the Year in 2010-11, and was shortly thereafter selected at No. 10 overall in the 2011 NBA Draft.
Unfortunately, he was recently released as a part of the San Antonio Spurs’ roster cuts.
