The New York Knicks are preparing for a 2017-18 NBA regular season that will feature an authentic youth movement. With a strong young core already in place, the Knicks will turn to free agency as a tool to flesh out the roster with promising young talent.
Although the Knicks may have ideal depth along the interior, the front office isn’t ruling out the possibility of signing a big man.
New York’s current core consists of center Willy Hernangomez, point guard Frank Ntilikina, and power forward Kristaps Porzingis. It also has a cast of well-known veterans in small forward Carmelo Anthony, shooting guard Courtney Lee, and center Joakim Noah.
