The New York Knicks lost on free agent targets, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, to the Brooklyn Nets earlier this offseason, shifting the balance of basketball power in the Five Boroughs. Now, it seems an ex-Knick is in line for an arrival at the Barclays Center.
Per Marc Berman of the New York Post, the Nets are “seriously eyeing” Lance Thomas, who ended a 264-game stint with the Knicks earlier this offseason, when the team completed its 15-man roster of guaranteed contracts. He was waived in June on a partially guaranteed salary of $1 million.
