Kyrie Irving was the other superstar long speculated to the New York Knicks in the 2018-19 season. That was until the Brooklyn Nets rumors started to creep in and include not one, but two teams in the Five Boroughs.
Then came the Instagram “like” seen around the world, when LeBron James reacted to a photoshopped image of Irving in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform. Suddenly, the purple and gold seemed realistic, as ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported, with moving to Los Angeles possible.
To move further from the Knicks speculation, Bleacher Report’s Ric Bucher told FS1 it is between the Lakers and Nets for Irving.
