After the New York Knicks selected RJ Barrett and Ignas Brazdeikis in the 2019 NBA Draft, they turned to the undrafted free agent pool, which featured dozens of available players. Most of them were signed quickly, whether to two-way contracts, for summer league or for training camp.
Among New York’s additions, Kris Wilkes was apparently set to join the team on a two-way contract. However, the team never officially announced him, despite confirming other first-year player pickups, and also kept him out of summer league.
Well, that contract never came to be, as Marc Berman of the New York Post reported.
