2018-19 has not proved kind to Frank Ntilikina. Still just 20 years old, his offensive struggles led to a lost starting spot, reduced minutes and two trips to head coach David Fizdale’s doghouse. He was about to regain the point guard job with the New York Knicks, until a late-January groin injury arose, and the 2017 draft pick remains out.
The situation could become bleaker for Ntilikina, however, pertaining to his future, per Marc Berman of the New York Post.
The Knicks will “explore their options” with the Frenchman on draft night, with New York likely to own one of the selection show’s top first-round picks.
