WASHINGTON — It is a fine balance but Knicks coach David Fizdale said he is impressed by the fire of two of his rookies, even if it means the occasional technical foul.
Mitchell Robinson and Allonzo Trier each picked up technicals in the Knicks’ 108-95 loss the Wizards.
Fizdale said he was happier with Trier’s third-quarter technical when he jawed with John Wall after getting taken to the ground by a hard foul. Robinson’s was more about frustration midway through the fourth quarter of a tight game.
“I want our whole team to be that way,’’ Fizdale said.
