LOS ANGELES — The Knicks need to get Steve Nash to all of RJ Barrett’s road games.
With his godfather watching Barrett live for the first time in his NBA career, Barrett posted one of his best games of his rookie season Sunday.
Barrett, the third pick in the NBA draft, made his first five shots and finished with 24 points and six rebounds in the Knicks’ 135-132 loss to the Clippers.
Shooting just 38.4 percent entering the game, Barrett was at his most efficient, draining 7 of 11 shots, looking like a handful in getting to the rim with shifty moves.
