Despite the fact that the New York Knicks traded a very good young player in forward Kristaps Porzingis, you can’t ignore the fact that there are some conerns when it comes to the durability of a lanky 7-foot-3 basketball player.
Former NBA executive Amin Elhassan was on Jalen & Jacoby and stated that the Knicks were in fact concerned with Porzingis’ long-term health.
“One of the concerns for the Knicks was his long-term durability given not just the knee that he had an injury on, but other body parts in his lower extremities,” said Elhassan.
