As an avid Yankees fan, basketball has been the last thing on my mind for the past 24 hours. The MLB trade deadline passes at 6 PM and I have been eagerly waiting to see if Brian Cashman does any moves before the deadline tonight. However, the Knicks wanted to sneak a move under my nose, re-signing PF/C Precious Achiuwa to a one-year, $6 million contract. Funny enough, the Knicks actually beat the big reporters to the punch.

Achiuwa, a native of Nigeria, came to the United States for high school, playing at Our Savior Lutheran School in The Bronx.
