Knicks practice notes: Chasson Randle doesn’t need surgery for orbital bone fracture

Chasson Randle’s quest to make the New York Knicks’ roster took a major hit last week when he suffered a fracture to the orbital bone in his face. The guard received some good news on Monday, however, as doctors determined he wouldn’t need surgery.

Chasson Randle does not need surgery, the Knicks say. He can resume activity on the court in 3-4 weeks.

Jeff Hornacek indicated that the Knicks won’t hold Randle’s injury against him when making final roster cuts, per Zach Braziller:

“I don’t think it hurts it at all.
