The 2015-16 NBA regular season was one of the more underwhelming years in New York Knicks history. Though the team added 15 wins to its tally from 2014-15, many fans were thinking playoffs when the roster was built.
Team president Phil Jackson believes that he knows exactly what went wrong.
New York seemed to be on a path to the postseason at 22-22. Unfortunately, the Knicks proceeded to go 10-28 over the final 38 games, thus finishing the season at 32-50.
According to Charley Rosen of Today’s Fastbreak, Jackson believes that the Knicks’ 32-50 record can be chalked up to fatigue and unfamiliarity.
