Knicks News: New York finalizing hiring of Walt Perrin as assistant GM

New York Knicks president Leon Rose decided to keep Scott Perry as general manager of the team for one more season, but he is making sure to bring in new faces to fill out the rest of the front office.

According to Shams Charania, the Knicks are finalizing the hiring of Jazz Vice President of Player Personnel Walt Perrin as assistant general manager. The report has since been confirmed by several local outlets.

Perrin will join Brock Aller as another new voice in the Knicks front office. Aller, a salary cap specialist, was recruited away from Cleveland to play a significant role under Rose.
